About Dr. Maximillian P. Ganz
Dr. Maximillian P. Ganz, D.O., M.S., is a Long Island-based orthopedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in adult reconstruction.
He specializes in primary and complex revision hip and knee replacement, with a specific focus on minimally invasive, robotic-assisted techniques including direct anterior total hip arthroplasty and partial knee replacement.
Dr. Ganz completed his elite fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Total Joint Arthroplasty at the prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
Prior to this, he completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the Northwell/Hofstra-Zucker School of Medicine.
He holds dual D.O. and Master of Science degrees in Neuromusculoskeletal Science, bringing a deep, research-driven understanding of biomechanics to his surgical practice.
He practices with a strong commitment to optimizing each patient's health before they ever step foot in the operating room. When he is not in the operating room or consulting with patients, Dr. Ganz applies his passion for optimization and biomechanics to his own life. He is an avid fitness enthusiast, maintaining a rigorous regimen of weightlifting, cardio, and high-intensity interval training. Having grown up right here on Long Island in Commack, Dr. Ganz is proud to build his practice in his home community. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and extended family, and exploring the best of the local coastal communities.
